Grown above 1,500 meters in altitude, this coffee has the fine, sweet, clear flavour; nominal acidity. You may also find hints of berries; complete with a buttery finish. Costa Rica has excellent coffee growing condition and certainly produces some of the best coffees in the world; it is also the first country in Central American to commercially produce coffee. Costa Rica produces almost exclusively Arabica beans. Beans produced are typically bight, crisp, and clean with good body and a fruity acidity. Other notable coffee growing regions include: Tarrazu, Tres Rios, Heredia, and Alajuela.
